THE STORY BEHIND STUDIOSTIG

I fell in love with art when I bought my first home.

I found myself drawn to vintage paintings - pieces with character, history and a sense that they had already lived a life before reaching you.

I spent hours searching auction houses, particularly for Swedish oil paintings. But between the cost of originals, international shipping, customs and awkward sizes requiring bespoke frames, building a collection wasn't always easy.

StudioStig grew from a simple idea: to create art with some of that same character, while making it easier to collect and live with.

Every StudioStig piece is giclée printed on 308gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag - a beautifully textured, archival-quality fine art paper chosen for its exceptional reproduction of colour and detail.

StudioStig prints are currently sold unframed, giving you the freedom to choose a frame that works with both your piece and your home. Our prints are available in a range of standard sizes, making it easy to find ready-made frames without the need for bespoke framing.

Think about both the size of your wall and the furniture around it. A larger piece can create a focal point above a sofa, bed or fireplace, while smaller prints work beautifully on shelves, in quieter corners or as part of a gallery wall. You'll find the exact dimensions available on every product page. When in doubt, go one size larger. Art almost always benefits from a little more presence on the wall.

UK delivery is £4.95, or free when you spend over £60. Every StudioStig print is made to order and dispatched within 1–2 working days. Once your order is on its way, you'll receive tracking details so you can follow its journey to you.

We hope you'll love your StudioStig piece, but if you change your mind, you can return it within 14 days of receiving your order for a refund. Your print must be returned unused and in its original condition and packaging. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless your order arrives damaged or there is a problem with your print. If your order arrives damaged or isn't as it should be, please get in touch and we'll put it right.
